Frequently Asked Questions
Our campus has a large variety of activities and amenities for you and your family. Although our driving range has been open for over forty years we’ve continued to add new products and services for the community. When is the Pro Shop open?
The Pro Shop is open 10am – 10pm daily.
Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Do you accept cash?
No, the Pro Shop at Cool Springs only accepts credit or debit cards.
Do you sell or allow food & alcohol?
Yes, all alcohol must be bought on site. We do have limited food options and snacks, outside food orders are permitted.
Do you sell clubs?
Yes! We sell clubs from Mizuno, Callaway, TaylorMade, Srixon, and more! Most are custom ordered to your specifications, but select products are available for immediate purchase on site such as putters and wedges.
Do you regrip clubs?
We do not offer regripping services at this time.
What are club fitting events?
Club Fitting Events are hosted at Cool Springs to allow customers to try out different clubs in real time to ensure they purchase the club or set that is absolutely right for them. These events are announced on social media and our email newsletters.
Do you offer personalized club fittings?
Individual Club Fittings are available for $75/ Hour. When you purchase a new set of clubs from Cool Springs Golf, golf fitting is included.
What are your hours of operation?
Hours: Open Daily 10am – 10pm
How much does it cost to play mini golf?
Pricing: Adults: $9.00 / Preschool: $4.00 / Senior: $1 Off / Military: $2 Off
How many people can play at one time?
Maximum of 5 people per group of play. If you have more than 5 people in your group, please break up into multiple groups to help the pace of play.
Do you have discounts for groups?
Group Discounts available for parties of 4 people or more.
Large Groups may completely rent the course for a party, event, or fundraiser.
Are you open on holidays?
Open on major holidays Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
What are the hours of the driving range?
Open 10am – 10pm 365 days a year.
How much is a bucket of range balls?
How do I purchase a bucket of balls?
You may go directly to one of our Range Servant Ball Dispensers. There are two machines on each level of the range. Each machine accepts credit or debit cards for purchase of range buckets.
You may also purchase a range bucket inside the Pro Shop located at the range by using your credit or debit card.
Do you accept cash?
Cool Springs does not accept cash. We accept all credit and debit cards.
Does the driving range close during inclement weather?
The range will close under extreme weather conditions for the safety of our customers and our staff. Since the range is two levels the lower level remains covered from rain, snow, and direct sunlight.
Do I need reservations to use the Driving Range?
No, our range bays are first come first served. However, you may reserve driving range bays together in advance for a fee of $20 per bay when booking a party in our Pavilion space. Please call us at 412-831-5080 or email us at email@example.com for details.
What are Toptracer Bays?
Toptracer Bays use Toptracer technology to gamify your session. This is the same technology used on the PGA Tour. For more information see our Toptracer Bay page.
How much does it cost to rent a Toptracer Bay?
Monday-Friday 10AM-4PM $30/hr | 4PM-Close $50/hr
Saturday & Sunday $50/hr

How many people can be in a Toptracer Bay at a time?
Up to six players can play at one time in a single Toptracer Bay.

How many bays do you have?
We have 60 driving range bays, including three Toptracer Bays.
Do you have loaner clubs?
Clubs can be loaned out and we have all sizes and both left-handed and right-handed clubs. All Clubs are first come, first serve. When loaning out a club we ask to hold on to an ID as collateral.
Do you have a short game area?
Our short game area closed in September 2020 and will not reopen. This area was repurposed for the opening of our new miniature golf course.
Do you have grass tees?
No, we only have simulated turf mats. The mat is a fairway simulated hitting mat with a simulated rough attached. There are no stand-alone grass tee spots.
What is a Loyalty Card?
Loyalty Card is a card that can be reloaded and be used to purchase Mini Golf, Driving range balls, Top tracer simulator time, and simulator time. When purchasing the Loyalty card, every $50 put on the card you will receive an additional $10.
Do you have golf lessons?
Yes! We have a number of experienced and certified instructors who specialize in a variety of specialties available for private and small group lessons. We are also one of the few public facilities that has a PGA Pro instructor on site, the highest caliber of golf instructor with guaranteed successful processes. How do I schedule a lesson?
If you are a new customer please call our Pro Shop at 412-831-5080 and provide your information to our staff. From there you will be contacted by one of our instructors to book your first lesson. Thereafter you will work with your instructor directly to schedule your lessons.

Is there a fee or price to use the Putting Green?
No, the Putting Green – located in front of the Pro Shop – is free to use. You will need to bring your own putter and ball(s) for practicing. We kindly ask that all customers respect the space of other golfers while practicing and to be mindful of cross-play.
Do you regrip clubs?
No, we do not offer regripping services at this time.
What are custom club fittings?
Custom club fittings are the best way to purchase a club or set. Whether you are a beginner or experience player, a properly fitted set of clubs can truly make or break your game. Our experienced PGA Professional will review each of the brands, styles, shafts and club heads with you. You will swing and hit either on our indoor simulator or on the outdoor range based on weather and your preference. From there you will find a club set that feels right to you and our team will ensure you are using the proper equipment for your swing speed, strength, and form.
Do you offer programs for children?
Yes, we offer Junior Beginner and Advanced Golf Clinics in the summer. You can sign up for one session or multiple sessions. Days and times may vary by season, Please call the Pro Shop today to speak with a staff member about details.
