Zach Petro

Personal Trainer, Specialist in Sports Performance and Post-Rehab Training

Education: B.S. in Exercise Science

Certifications: NSCA-Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)


Zack Petro joins the Cool Fitness staff as a Strength and Conditioning Coach after having experiences training athletes at the junior high, high school, and collegiate levels. He creates customized programs that blend strength, power, speed, and movement training principles to optimize performance and long-term athletic development.


He has taken an additional interest in assisting the injured athlete or client transition from rehabilitation to performance training in a safe and controlled manner.


Training Time: 3 months (3x/week)

Emily Freeland

Personal Trainer

Education: B.S. in Health Promotion/Fitness Management

Certifications: NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)


Emily has experience in working with a wide variety of age populations and ability levels. She has been a trainer for multiple weight loss challenges and also has experience in training individuals interested in running (5k-half marathon) and obstacle course racing. She specializes in general population, group training, running, and obstacle course racing.


Training Time: 3 months (2x/week)

Working On: Weight bearing exercises, strength, balance

Claudia Booker

Personal Trainer

Education: B.S. in Health Education and Exercise Physiology

Certifications: NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)


Claudia has been in the fitness industry for 25 years and Personal Training for 20 years. She has worked with all ages, abilities and fitness levels. Throughout the years she has grown fond of working with special populations, focusing on functional fitness and post rehab. Working with seniors is a highlight for Claudia, and thoroughly enjoys this specialized area. She is also a certified Pilates instructor and works with many clients individually using Pilates techniques.
